During the off-season, NTLL Volunteers have been working dillegently to enhance Safety, Playing, and Spectator experience for its New Tampa Little League Patrons.

Many believe that maintaining fields is just spreading fertilizer and planting grass, and that it all just happens "Auto-Magically" while they are at work. To the contrary, there is actually a great deal of work involved in making our fields some of the best in florida.

Below is just an example of what goes on to make New Tampa Little League a great place to play for our kids!

It has been said on many occasions that "New Tampa Little League has some of the best fields in Central Florida if not the

entire state." This is largely due to the dedication and efforts of Lou Pastore, Owner of Field of Dreams sports field maintenance, and personal voluntary investment of the board and coaches of New Tampa Little League.

Intermediate League Update

Registration is now open for the Intermediate Division. This division is for children league age 11-13. In this division the players can lead-off, steal, pick-off, use big barrel bats, metal spikes, and all the rules used on the 90’ field. The games are to be played on a field with a 50’ pitcher’s mound and 70’ between bases. The children playing in this division will be able to develop the skills needed on the big field on a field more suited for their bodies.

Players can register for both the Intermediate Division and their regular division or for the Intermediate Division only. This means that players choosing to play in two divisions will be playing additional games from those in their regular division.

We are opening registration now in order to get an understanding of the number of players interested in playing in the Intermediate Division and will not be accepting payment at this time.

Once playing fees and the game schedule is determined, the families of the players can decide if they want to continue in the Intermediate Division.
